Polygon-based Landslide Inventory for Bandung Basin Using Google Earth

A landslide inventory representing locations is used as a key factor in susceptibility assessment. This paper explores Google Earth (GE) for generating polygon-based Bandung Basin. How far GE can identify landslides and their boundaries, source areas, types were discussed here. Visual interpretation of images supported by path tool GE, official reports, previous research papers, media was performed. The result consisting 194 areas during 1993-2020. limitations preparing the are (1) not covering timing occurrences, (2) tricky to small (<100 m2) anthropogenically transformed (3) able distinguish between earth debris material.
